The Children's House

Macquarie Preparatory School’s Preschool Program is designed for children ages 3 to 6 who are considered to be sensorial explorers that are always building their insight of the world by absorbing every part of their environment, language and culture. Our Preschool Education Program takes into account the particular needs of this age group by fulfilling their innate desire to learn through direct sensory experiences with self-instructing materials. Our program covers the five key educational plan areas, with science, music, craftsmanship and physical education having a significant impact in day by day exercises. In this age group, children pick their own assignments and work freely at their own pace, under the delicate direction of a trained educator. The focal point of the Preschool Program is to get the children ready for school and help them to create autonomy, build a solid sense of self, self-inspiration, and a love for learning.
